"Prospecting’" is a photographic series that examines a cross section of tournament poker players in Los Angeles, coupling them with their Day 2 poker chip bags.  The chip bags represent each player’s hopes and dreams of hitting it big much like the idea of finding gold in the 1800’s. The series highlights the subculture of poker, exploring the stereotypical players with sunglasses and sweatshirts, creating baseball card like portraits of a sport that anyone can play.
